The Harringworth Educational Trust was established in 1883 by local farmers and landowners to create an income for the education of children in the local village school and to fund books and activities. Small parcels of land were rented out and the income given to the Trust. Today, the Trust continues to help children and students in education and apprenticeship schemes by offering financial support towards books, technology and tuition in the form of an annual contribution towards these activities. The Trust also offers an annual heating grant to pensioners in the village who wish to apply.

As a trust, our income has to be distributed and to this end we welcome all applications … as a first step, please complete and submit the form below. You will need to support your application with an invoice or receipt confirming the cost incurred (please deliver this with an explanatory note to Boey Ling at Orchard Barn, Wakerley Road, Harringworth). All applications must be submitted by October 7th.
